What Is London Super Comic Convention?

L.S.C.C. is the UK’s biggest and most exciting comic convention. Our show floor plays host to the latest and greatest in comics, comic related memorabilia, superheroes and graphic novels. Our panels and autograph sessions give fans a chance to interact with their favorite creators and there are a large amount of comic items on sale from numerous exhibitors as well as publishers of your favourite comic books.

How Big Is L.S.C.C.?

L.S.C.C. is the UK’s biggest Comic book convention with over 11,000 people attending our inaugural show, and a floor space of just over 100,000 square feet for 2013. It boasts hundreds of exhibitors coming from as far and close as Australia, America, Europe and the UK

When Is L.S.C.C.?

23rd and 24th of February 2013. Doors open at 9.30am for people with early attendance weekend tickets, otherwise 10am for standard tickets.

Where Is L.S.C.C.?

L.S.C.C. is held at the Excel Centre, One Western Gateway, Royal Victoria Dock, London, E16 1XL

Who Needs A Ticket?

Everyone 12 and over must have a ticket to enter LSCC. Children 11 and under are admitted for free on both days. Please note, L.S.C.C. recommends all children under 18 attend with an adult, and all children 11 and under must have an adult with them while at L.S.C.C.

Can I Take Pictures?

For the most part, you're welcome to take still pictures and video, however, please note that all photography and recording is prohibited during screenings.

We would like to point out that any creators present, may or may not pose for photographs with fans. Creators have a right to their privacy and if they ask not to have their picture taken, please respect their wishes.

Will I Be On Camera?

Our inaugural show attracted some 20 media outlets including Sky and The BBC. By attending L.S.C.C. you give your consent to be photographed and appear on camera.

Will Guests Sign Autographs?

Many creators will have an official signing slot allocated to them and will be signing autographs in the Signing Area on the show floor. Other creators in Artist Alley and at various booths may sign items if presented, but this is left to their discretion. Unless otherwise noted on our web site, there will be no charge for creators autographs, in the official signing sessions organised by L.S.C.C.  It is at the creator's discretion whether they charge for their signatures whilst at their tables/booths.

Please note that it is left to the individual creators to decide if they wish to pose for photographs with fans and to limit the number of items to be signed. During the official Signing Sessions, the L.S.C.C. reserves the right to limit the amount of autographs dependent on time scale and queues.

Weapons Policy

Please read this entire policy before attending L.S.C.C.. Failure to follow this policy may result in your removal from the convention without refund.

If you're bringing, buying or selling something that could maim, damage or cause serious bodily harm, we're going to take issue. The following items are forbidden at L.S.C.C.:

  1. Functional firearms (including air soft guns, BB guns, cap guns, paintball guns and pellet guns)
  2. Realistic replica firearms (including reproduction, fake or toy guns that can be confused for functional firearms)
  3. Functional projectile weapons (including blow guns, crossbows, long bows, silly string, slingshots, water balloons and water guns)
  4. Sharpened metal-bladed weapons (including axes, daggers, hatches, knives, kunai, shuriken, swords, sword canes and switch blades)
  5. Explosives (including firecrackers and fireworks)
  6. Chemical weapons (including mace and pepper spray)
  7. Blunt weapons (including brass knuckles, clubs and nunchaku)
  8. Hard prop weapons (including props made of metal, fiberglass and glass)
  9. Instruments that cause excessive noise levels like vuvuzelas, grenade whistles and grenade horns
  10. Whips
  11. Aerosol mustard

Prop weapons will be allowed providing they are composed of cardboard, foam, wood or other light materials. Prop firearms are allowed only if they cannot be mistaken for real weapons. The barrel of all prop firearms must be covered with brightly-colored caps. Prop bows will be allowed providing all arrows have soft tips.

Bootleg Policy

The buying and selling of counterfeit / knock-off / unlicensed materials is not tolerated at L.S.C.C.

Violation of this rule will result in one and only one warning. A second violation and you'll be removed from the show.

Is There A Cloakroom?

Yes, there is a supervised cloakroom located Near ExCel Hall N4 where coats and bags can be stored at a cost of £1.

Can I Bring My Pet?

No, the only exception are guide-dogs for the visually impaired.

Can You Watch My Kids?

No. We do not provide child care services at this time.
